Big practice today…

We had a good practice on Monday but it is only the beginning and we still have players that were MIA…

If you want a place in the team you’ll have to earn it!

Ofer said we will work on our defense so make sure you watch this link before training today.

Tiv’on, 19:45 we start running… 21:30 we stop running and start drinking…

WHAT A FUCKING WASTE OF TIME!!! Finally we get 30 players to a session and we spend 5 minutes playing! 15 minutes discussing lineout calls and the rest of the time standing around waiting while we wait for our turns on the drills. We have so many players who have never played, others haven’t played for a while. Why not give us an hour on the field, full game conditions, two teams both with positions contesting under match rules. Sorry guys but I am pissed off that we wasted this opportunity! Otherwise have a good weekend, see you on monday. Ilan.

      Hi Ilan,
That’s not the words you want to choose when you wish people would listen.

What I understand from your comment (and please, try to use other words next time) is that you wish practices will contain more real game situations and less pin-point drills.
You must understand that we need to teach as well as practice so players will know what to do during the game and it is really difficult for a player to learn new things under the pressure of a game.

We can do better for next time and will think how to improve on our side but I ask you this:
      Players, take responsibility on yourselves!
      1) If you know you lack knowledge then watch games and ask questions outside of practices and this will save us some precious time during practice.
      2) Push the practice forward – talk less and do more.

Our job as players is to allow Ofer to do his work on the best side by showing up to practices and strive for knowledge.

About players waiting for their turns, we will set up more training grounds for each drill so more people could practice simultaneously.

We need this kind of enthusiasm in our team! This will push us forward!
